How We Started
A desk, a notebook, and a refusal to sell packages
Joy Of Travel began with one designer and a simple frustration: every "custom" itinerary on offer was really just a brochure with your name typed on top. So we started from a blank page instead — one traveller, one conversation, one journey built entirely around how they actually move through the world.
That's still the whole method. We've never franchised it, never turned it into a call centre, and never taken on more families in a year than we can personally know by name.
